TwitchCon San Diego is just over two weeks away. Here’s how to plan your pass, your days and your channel.

TwitchCon 2026 is just over two weeks away. It runs November 13 to 15 at the San Diego Convention Center, and it's the biggest weekend of the year for meeting your community, other streamers and the people who build Twitch. A little planning now turns three busy days into connections that last. Here's how to get ready.

## TwitchCon 2026 at a glance

- **Dates:** Friday, November 13, to Sunday, November 15.
- **Where:** San Diego Convention Center.
- **Early wristband pickup:** Thursday, November 12, noon to 8 p.m. Pickup only, no show floor.
- **Show floor:** 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (Pacific). Registration opens at 9 a.m. each day.
- **Partner Party:** Thursday, November 12, 6 to 9 p.m., for Twitch Partners.
- **TwitchCon Party:** Saturday, November 14, 7 to 10:30 p.m., in Gallagher Square at Petco Park. It's a separate add-on.

Times can change, so check the [official schedule](https://www.twitchcon.com/san-diego-2026/schedule/) before you book anything around them.

## Pick your pass

TwitchCon sells 3-day passes, a 3-day pass bundled with the TwitchCon Party, and single days. The 3-day options come with a custom emote pack and chat badges. Kids 13 and under need a child pass added to an adult's pass, and under-5s get in free. Sunday is Family Day.

Your Twitch status matters too. Affiliates get a gift pickup and access to Affiliate sessions such as Creator Camp. Partners get into the Partner Party with their pass. See the [passes page](https://www.twitchcon.com/san-diego-2026/passes/) for current prices.

## Getting there and getting around

If you haven't booked a place to stay, do it now. Rooms near the venue go first, and prices climb in the last two weeks. Staying within walking distance of the convention center saves you money on rides and time every morning, and the Gaslamp Quarter, with its restaurants and hotels, is right next door. If you're flying, aim to land on Thursday so you can pick up your wristband and rest before Friday.

Set a daily budget before you go. Food near the venue costs more than you expect, and merch adds up fast. Splitting a room or an Airbnb with streamer friends is a great way to cut costs, and it often turns into the best content of the trip.

## Plan your days before you land

The schedule is already live, and it fills up fast. Go through it this week and pick two or three things a day you won't miss: a panel on growing your channel, a Creator Camp session, a meet-and-greet with a streamer you love. Then leave real gaps. Some of the best moments at TwitchCon happen in line, on the show floor or over lunch with someone you just met.

- Pick up your wristband on Thursday if you can, and skip Friday morning's line.
- Put your must-sees in your phone's calendar with alarms.
- Plan for long lines at popular meet-and-greets, and have a backup.
- Eat, drink water and sit down when you get the chance. Three days on a show floor is a lot.

## Meet your community

If some of your viewers are going, a meetup can be the highlight of their weekend. Pick a time outside the busiest hours and an easy spot to find, near the venue but out of the main walkways. Announce it on stream, on Discord and on your socials a week ahead, and again on the day. Take a group photo, and you've got the perfect post for when you get home.

Going to meet other creators? Bring a simple way to swap handles: a QR code on your phone, or cards with your channel name. Follow up within a few days, while the conversation is fresh.

## Streaming from the show floor

IRL streams from TwitchCon are a great way to bring viewers who can't make it along with you. Keep the kit light: your phone, a small gimbal, a wireless mic and a big power bank. The venue's Wi-Fi and cell signal will be under heavy load, so don't plan anything that depends on a perfect connection.

Before you go live, read Twitch's Events Code of Conduct and the TwitchCon FAQ for the rules on filming and equipment in the venue. And always ask before you put someone on stream. Plenty of people at TwitchCon are happy to say hi to your chat, but it's their call.

## Keep your channel running while you're away

A few days off doesn't have to stall your channel. Tell viewers your plan before you leave: when you'll stream from San Diego, when you're offline and when you're back. Pin it in chat and on your socials.

Your mods can keep things moving too. With [Moderator Access](/features/moderator-access), trusted mods can upload new stickers, Throwables, TTS and Super Stickers for your channel, and approve text-to-speech messages before they play. You choose exactly what each mod can do. See the [Moderator Access guide](/guide/moderator-access) to set it up before you travel.

## What to pack

- Comfortable shoes. You'll walk miles.
- A refillable water bottle and snacks.
- Phone chargers and a power bank, fully charged every night.
- A light jacket. Convention halls run cold.
- A small backpack, and room in your bag for merch.
- Your channel handle on a card or QR code.

## Come home with a plan

The weekend goes fast. Before you fly home, write down who you met, what you learned and one thing you'll try on your channel. Then stream a TwitchCon recap: show your photos, tell the stories, and let chat react to every moment.
